A Voice for Members is made up of public servants all across Victoria. We represent the biggest government departments, down to the smallest independent agencies.
We first came together after negotiations for our 2024 VPS enterprise agreement negotiations left us feeling disempowered, ripped off, and shut out by our own union.
What we have in common is a desire to see democracy and accountability brought back to our union. You can read more about our policy platform here.
We believe our union’s current leadership and strategy needs revitalisation. That’s why, for the first time in over 31 years, we are contesting 38 of the 39 elected positions in our union through this year’s CPSU Vic election. We are also building a strong, long-lasting rank and file caucus while we do this.
You can find our candidates below, and use our How To Vote document to help fill out your ballot.

Executive candidates
We held pre-selections in February 2025 to choose our CPSU Victoria election candidates for the union’s executive positions.
You can read more about our executive candidates, including candidate statements, by visiting our Executive Candidates page.
Branch Council Candidates
We held further pre-selections in April 2025 to choose our CPSU Victoria election candidates for the branch council in the 2025 union election.
Click on any of our candidates listed below to read their candidate statement, or visit our Branch Council Candidates page to read all candidate statements.

Unfortunately, we couldn’t find a candidate for North Eastern Region. If you are in this region, we’d love to chat with you anyway! If we win executive positions we want to know everything about how we can help members in the regions.
If you’re in North Eastern Region we would also LOVE you to vote for our executive candidates!
Like what you see?
Make sure to vote for your A Voice for Members candidates when you receive your CPSU Vic ballot packs later this year.
