These campaign resources give you an idea of who we are and what we stand for. They are shareable in your workplaces, so you can jump right in to our campaign.
If you have an idea for a union election resource that could help our campaign, let us know!
Mailout Resources
Thanks to the generous support of our rank-and-file backers, we have invested in a physical mailout to CPSU Vic members containing the following documents.
How can AVFM access address information?
The name and address information for this mailout was sourced from the CPSU Vic electoral roll for this election, as provided by the AEC.
All information is being handled according to strict privacy rules governed by a legal document known as a “Deed Poll” (similar to a contract, but binding only one party).
AVFM candidates who have signed a deed poll, and assistants within the campaign who have also signed a deed poll, are the only members of the campaign who can access and use the voter roll information provided by the AEC.
Additionally, our candidates and assistants may only use the information from the voter roll in connection with the election, and it is a criminal offense to use it for any other purpose.
AVFM is committed to running a clean, above-board, transparent campaign, in accordance with our founding principles. Please contact us if you have any concerns regarding our campaign.
See the below information received from the AEC for more details regarding voter roll obligations.
In accordance with Regulation 131(2) of the Fair Work (Registered Organisations) Act 2009, the roll of voters for the conduct of elections consists of only the name and postal address of each member.
If you use the information in the roll to send postal materials, or to attend another member’s home, you must only do so for a reason in connection with the election.
The AEC reminds you that regulation 131(6) of the Fair Work (Registered Organisations) Regulations 2009 makes it a criminal offence to use the information within the roll for a purpose other than in connection with the election, or to monitor the accuracy of the information contained in the roll.
Using the information in the roll to contact a member, including at their home, for any reason other than in connection with the election may be an offence. The AEC may refer any reports of this behaviour to the Australian Federal Police.

Workplace posters and flyers
If you’re ready to decorate your workplace you can print these flyers and posters.
Please do not use a workplace printer. This is not an acceptable use of Victorian government resources.
These should also not be put on any official CPSU noticeboards, as these are for official union notifications only.

After the election — whether we win, lose, or draw — we will continue to be a force within the union, fighting for all public servants.
